Mission

At the American Interview Academy, our mission is to empower disinvested individuals in underserved communities in Chicago and America, as well as incarcerated individuals scheduled for release, by providing comprehensive career services. We believe in going beyond mere advice on interview practices and focus on offering mentorship, mental health support, and the necessary tools to confidently apply for high-demand jobs.

Vision

Our vision at the American Interview Academy is centered around empowering marginalized individuals in Chicago and America, to confidently interview for high-demand jobs while also aiming to achieve broader societal outcomes.  Here are our key objectives:

1. Prepare Individuals for High-Demand Jobs We strive to provide disinvested teenagers and adults in underserved communities with the necessary professional skills and knowledge to excel in today's competitive job market. By offering comprehensive career services, including interview preparation, resume building, and job search strategies, we empower our clients to confidently pursue high-demand employment opportunities. Furthermore, by showing kindness and offering career mentoring to impressionable disinvested teenagers, we will prepare them for success in life and business, rescue them from poverty and crime, and help them craft a destiny of peace and prosperity.

2. Enhance Public Safety and Reduce Recidivism We believe that by offering professional assistance to individuals in custody, we can positively impact their lives and reduce recidivism rates. Our focus is on equipping incarcerated individuals with valuable life and work skills that will support their successful reintegration into society upon release. By doing so, we contribute to increased public safety and reduced victimization.

3. Innovative Website Platform Our team is currently developing an engaging interactive website platform, designed to help members streamline their self-presentation and forge powerful connections with potential employers. This platform will empower our users to craft professional, vibrant introduction videos, resumes, cover letters, and thank-you notes.

Our members can also enrich their career and health development by accessing our extensive library of tutorial videos, spanning areas such as leadership, ergo-dynamics, anti-sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, bullying, workplace violence, corruption, and bribery. The platform also offers tools to refine their understanding of professional workplace ethics, standards and expectations.

Moreover, members can challenge their knowledge through scenarios focused on fostering dignity and respect amongst colleagues and clients, along with recognizing and reporting inappropriate workplace behavior to Human Resources. By harnessing the power of technology, we aspire to amplify their prospects for securing meaningful employment opportunities.

4. Establish State-of-the-Art Business Technology Centers To provide comprehensive support to job applicants from low-income communities, we are actively seeking state and federal grants, military contracts, private philanthropic donations, and corporate partnerships.

Our vision is to establish state-of-the-art business technology centers in major cities across America that offer etiquette classes, career resources, and on-site, image and grooming experts. Our centers will empower and equip American job applicants to best prepare for their interviews and increase their chances of success.

5. Support Military Recruitment As part of our commitment to serving our country, we will provide dedicated office space for U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Recruiters. By offering this space, we aim to facilitate the enlistment process for men and women who want to serve in the armed forces, ensuring that they have access to the resources they need.
